Every Pregnancy is the world’s first Zakat-approved Muslim collaborative for maternal and newborn health. We bring together a coalition of 55+ frontline organizations working across 20+ countries to ensure that every mother has a safe pregnancy and every baby has a healthy start. Through catalytic, community-driven funding, we are mobilizing resources at an unprecedented scale to address preventable maternal and infant mortality.

Role Overview
Every Pregnancy is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support our growing organization. This individual will work directly with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to manage core operational, administrative, and coordination functions across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is excited to help build and strengthen systems that support global impact.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Administration
- Support day-to-day operational functions in close coordination with the COO
- Assist with drafting, organizing, and managing contracts, procurement processes, and vendor agreements
- Maintain organized records of operational documents, contracts, and internal systems
- Support HR-related administrative processes (onboarding, documentation, coordination)
Financial & Reconciliation Support
- Track and manage organizational expenses and receipts
- Support expense reporting and reconciliation processes
- Coordinate with finance teams and fiscal sponsors as needed to ensure accurate documentation
Vendor & External Coordination
- Manage vendor communications, timelines, and deliverables
- Support vendor procurement, onboarding, and contract tracking
- Maintain a database of vendors and service providers
Executive & Administrative Support
- Assist with scheduling and calendar coordination for the CEO and COO
- Coordinate travel bookings (flights, accommodations, logistics) for leadership
- Support planning and logistics for events, convenings, and meetings
Content & Document Management
- Develop, update, and format internal and external documents
- Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations and organizational materials
- Support ongoing updates to key organizational documents and reports
General Support
- Provide flexible administrative and operational support as needed
- Contribute to improving internal processes and systems
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–6+ years of relevant experience in operations, administration, or coordination roles (nonprofit or mission-driven experience preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking, organization, basic analysis) and PowerPoint (deck creation and formatting)
- Experience supporting contracts, procurement, or financial tracking is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability

Location Preference
Candidates based in the Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia (DMV) area are strongly preferred.
Compensation
This is a part-time consultant/contractor role (20 hours/week). Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Please note that this position does not include employee benefits.
