Every two minutes, a woman loses her life due to complications related to pregnancy or childbirth. Pious Projects is committed to addressing these urgent needs in conflict-ridden and disaster-affected regions such as Gaza, Afghanistan and Mali.
Our goal is to provide highly-trained, dignified care to mothers so they can partake in this beautiful journey with minimized risk and less fear of what's to come. With the construction of our hospitals, mothers will receive prenatal care, labor and delivery services, postpartum care, lactation services, surgical interventions, and access to clean water.
The value mothers and babies bring to society cannot be overstated, and women deserve so much more than they receive as far as the protection and care of themselves and their treasured newcomers.
