GRT is establishing a NICU in Taiz, Yemen, where conflict has devastated healthcare. The unit will offer critical care for premature and ill newborns, advanced neonatal equipment, specialist staff, and a new oxygen generator to help reduce newborn mortality in this vulnerable region.

We are preparing to launch an educational birth guide to support mothers and caregivers in rural and hard-to-reach areas, helping ensure safer deliveries. The guide offers clear, step-by-step instructions in local languages. Alongside it, we will distribute essential birth kits containing misoprostol, sterile cord clamps or string, scissors, baby hat, delivery sheets, towel, maternity pads, gloves, and a tape measure. These resources aim to reduce childbirth risks and improve outcomes for mothers and babies with limited access to care.
