Make Black Mothers Visible

The Motherhood Group launched the Black Maternal Mental Health Report in November 2025 at a Parliamentary event, uniting MPs, Peers, policymakers, and mothers to drive action. The Report outlines five transformational steps: community-led culturally safe care, co-produced standards, trauma-informed training, grassroots digital peer support, and leadership accountability. The Black mums provides a digital solution to perinatal mental health issues, enabling mothers to share local events and access weekly group therapy sessions, with partnerships including NCT, Sands, and Slater and Gordon.
